With the Jackery Smart Meter P1 Reader, the charging and discharging of your Jackery SolarVault home battery automatically adjusts to the current electricity consumption in your home. The meter reads real-time data via the P1 port of your smart electricity meter and sends this information to the Jackery app.
This allows the SolarVault system to see when electricity is being consumed, fed back into the grid, or drawn from it. Based on this data, the home battery can automatically adjust charging and discharging to match the energy usage in your household. This helps make better use of the electricity you generate and ensures the system aligns with the actual power consumption of your home.
Installation is simple: connect the meter to the P1 port of your smart meter, connect it to Wi-Fi and link the device to the app. You will immediately gain insight into your electricity data, allowing the Jackery SolarVault system to automatically respond to the energy usage in your home.
