The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC is designed for households with existing solar panels that want to make better use of their own solar energy. Instead of exporting excess electricity directly to the grid, the system stores it for later use.

It's particularly useful if your solar panels regularly generate more electricity than you consume during the day. The stored energy can then be used in the evening, when household electricity demand is often higher.

Thanks to its modular design, you can start with one BP5200 battery offering 5.22 kWh of storage capacity and expand up to 15.66 kWh as your energy needs grow. This makes it a flexible solution if you install more solar panels or increase your electricity consumption in the future.

Yes. The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC requires at least one BP5200 battery to store energy and make it available for later use. The Hub manages energy conversion and system control, while the battery provides the actual storage capacity. You can connect up to three BP5200 batteries.

Yes. The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC is designed for quick and easy installation. The basic setup is plug-and-play: position the unit, connect it to a suitable wall socket and configure the system through the app. In many cases, it can be ready to use within minutes.

To use the maximum grid-connected output of 2,400 W, a dedicated circuit is required. We recommend having this installed by a qualified electrician. A CT Smart Meter can also be installed to provide real-time monitoring of solar generation and household electricity consumption.

Yes. In addition to the Lunergy P1 meter, the system supports solutions such as HomeWizard P1, Shelly and Everhome. This means you can often integrate the Hub into your existing energy setup without purchasing additional monitoring equipment.

For more advanced control, the system also supports Home Assistant and Modbus, enabling local communication and automation even without an internet connection.

The Lunergy Hub features an IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust and water jets. Installation in a suitable, sheltered outdoor location is possible, provided the installation requirements are met. Always check whether the connected BP5200 batteries are also suitable for the chosen location.
