Product description
This 30 Amp External MPPT Kit from Goal Zero ensures that the energy generated via solar panels can be safely stored in the Yeti Tank Expansion Battery. This kit includes the Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 charge controller, a Goal Zero HPP extension cable for attachment to your Goal Zero solar panels and a Goal Zero EC8 extension cable for connection to your Yeti tank.
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 charge controller is equipped with the MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) system. When it is cloudy and the light intensity changes constantly, the MPPT controller system (Maximum Power Point Tracker) improves the energy yield. The technology ensures that the charge regulator automatically adjusts to these changing voltages so that the energy is transferred efficiently from the solar panel to the battery. By using a charge controller with MPPT system, you can use up to 30% more power from your solar panels.
The Bluetooth Smart charge controller has a built-in bluetooth module so that the yield (real time and history) of your solar panels is easy to read in the Victron app. The app is suitable for Apple and Android smartphones, tablets or other devices.
