The Jackery HomePower 2000 Ultra is a modular plug-in home battery designed as a complete all-in-one solution for residential energy storage. In one compact unit, the system combines energy storage, power distribution and smart control, without the need for separate hubs, inverters or additional components in the basic setup. This makes the HomePower 2000 Ultra suitable for households that want to store self-generated energy and use it later, without fixed installation or major modifications to the electrical system.

The HomePower 2000 Ultra can process solar energy in two ways. Solar panels can be connected directly via the DC inputs, allowing the system to accept up to 2,000 W of solar input, distributed across two MPPT inputs. In addition, the system can work together with existing microinverters, up to 800 W AC. In total, up to 2,800 W of solar input can be utilised. This setup is intended for small-scale and plug-in solar installations; a fixed rooftop system with a conventional string inverter is not connected directly.

Available solar energy is managed automatically and efficiently. Connected devices are supplied first, after which any surplus energy is stored in the battery. This stored energy remains available for later use, for example in the evening or during periods of higher electricity demand.

Energy storage is based on a LiFePO₄ battery with a capacity of 2,048 Wh. The storage capacity starts at 2 kWh and can be expanded modularly up to 8 kWh by adding extra battery modules. This allows you to start small and adapt the storage capacity over time, without fundamentally changing the system setup.

When connected via a wall socket, the HomePower 2000 Ultra delivers up to 800 W on-grid power to the household. In addition, the system features a separate AC output for off-grid use. With an output of up to 1,500 W, this output can be used to directly power essential devices such as lighting, network equipment or a refrigerator. In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to battery power, with a switchover time of less than 20 ms for connected devices.

The enclosure is IP65 certified, making the HomePower 2000 Ultra suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

In addition to solar charging, the system can also be charged via the electricity grid. When used in combination with the Jackery Smart Meter and smart plugs, the HomePower 2000 Ultra gains insight into household energy consumption and the usage of connected devices, allowing charging and discharging to be controlled in a targeted manner. Via the Jackery Home App, users can monitor energy flows and easily set charging and discharging schedules.
