Capaciteit: 7 kWhThe Solarbank Max AC is a plug-in home battery with a base capacity of 7 kWh, designed for households that want to get more out of their existing solar panels and reduce their dependence on the grid. During the day, you often generate more energy than you directly use, while in the evening your demand increases. Instead of feeding energy back into the grid, you store it and use it when it suits you. This way, you make better use of your own energy and increase the overall efficiency of your system.
On sunny days, your solar generation can increase significantly. At those moments, part of that energy is often fed back into the grid, even though you may need it later. With a power output of up to 3500W, the Solarbank Max AC can store a large portion of this energy directly. This allows the system to better match how a typical household generates and uses energy, especially with solar systems between 3000 and 6000 Wp.
The Solarbank Max AC acts as a smart link between your solar panels, your home and the electricity grid. Surplus energy is automatically stored and used later when your consumption increases. The system continuously adjusts its output to match your household’s energy demand, ensuring efficient use of energy without requiring manual input. Combined with smart control, this process runs automatically, based on your usage and, where available, dynamic energy tariffs.
Easy to start, expand later
You can get started right away via a standard wall socket, without making changes to your home. This makes the system easy to adopt. If you want to use higher power levels or integrate the system further into your home, connecting it to a dedicated circuit is the logical next step.
With a storage capacity of 7 kWh, the system can cover a large part of your evening consumption in many situations. Think of lighting, kitchen appliances and other daily energy use. If you need more capacity, the system can be expanded up to 42 kWh, allowing it to grow with your household, for example when adding more solar panels or switching to electric driving.
With a continuous output of up to 3500W and a peak of up to 5000W, you can run multiple appliances at the same time using stored energy. This reduces your reliance on the grid when you need power. For these power levels, connection to a dedicated circuit is required to ensure safe and compliant operation.
Backup during power outages
During normal operation, the Solarbank Max AC supplies power directly to your home via the electrical system. Your appliances continue to operate as usual, without requiring any manual intervention.
In the event of a power outage, selected appliances such as lighting, a refrigerator or internet equipment can continue to run via the off-grid output. If you want to go further, the system can be expanded with the Power Dock Pro. This integrates the battery into your home’s electrical system and allows a larger part of your home to be powered automatically. You no longer need to connect appliances separately, and the system switches over automatically. This is optional and not required to get started.
Through the app, you always have insight into your energy consumption, generation and storage. The system automatically responds to changes in your household, weather conditions and energy prices, so energy management is largely taken care of while you remain in control.
