During the day, solar panels often generate more energy than is used directly. Part of this surplus is fed back into the grid, while electricity demand typically increases in the evening. With the SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC, this excess energy is captured and stored for later use. This allows more of your own energy to remain available within the home, exactly when your household needs it.
This bundle combines the SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC with five BP2500 battery modules. Together they form a complete home battery system with a total storage capacity of 15.12 kWh. This expands the system into a large energy storage solution for households that want to make intensive use of their existing solar installation and store and use a large share of the daily solar energy surplus within their home.
The SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC is designed for homes with an existing PV installation. Thanks to its AC-coupled operation, the system connects to the AC side of the home and works together with your current inverter or microinverters. Solar panels do not need to be reconnected and no additional PV cabling is required. In combination with a compatible energy meter, surplus energy is automatically stored and used when consumption increases.
The SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC provides 2500W of bidirectional AC power per unit. This means the system can not only charge but also discharge up to 2500W continuously to your home.*
In practice, this is sufficient to support multiple household appliances at the same time. Examples include lighting, a refrigerator, freezer and internet equipment while a washing machine or dishwasher is running. The system can therefore cover a significant portion of the daily electricity consumption.
In combination with a smart energy meter, the system gains real-time insight into consumption and energy export. It supports several operating modes, including self-consumption and dynamic tariff optimisation.
With dynamic electricity tariffs, the system can automatically charge when electricity prices are lower and discharge when prices increase. Control and monitoring take place via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Ethernet in the Jackery app. Multiple units connected in parallel are also centrally managed within the app, allowing the entire system to operate as one integrated solution.
With five BP2500 batteries, the SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC becomes an energy system with 15.12 kWh of storage capacity. This creates a substantial buffer to store a large part of the daily solar energy surplus for later use, for example in the evening or during periods of higher simultaneous electricity demand.
This allows an existing solar installation to evolve from a system that only generates electricity into one that actively stores and reuses energy within the home.
Note: For output power above 800 W, we recommend connecting the system to a dedicated circuit in the electrical distribution panel that is not shared with other appliances. This should be checked or installed by a certified electrician.
