With the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max + BP7000, you instantly double the storage capacity of the Solarbank Max to 14 kWh. This gives you a substantial energy reserve for storing surplus solar power generated during the day and using it later, without having to opt for one of the largest battery configurations straight away. With ample storage, support for solar installations up to 10 kWp, an output power of up to 5000 W and smart energy management, this bundle is a strong choice for anyone looking to make better use of their own energy.
The Solarbank Max comes with 7 kWh of storage capacity as standard. The included BP7000 Expansion Battery adds another 7 kWh, doubling the available storage capacity to 14 kWh in a single step.
This additional capacity gives you considerably more room to store surplus solar power. Energy that your home does not use during the day can be saved for the hours when your electricity consumption continues but solar production starts to fall. This could be used for cooking in the evening, lighting, doing the laundry or running other appliances after sunset.
With 14 kWh, you get an excellent balance between ample energy storage and flexibility for the future. The configuration provides plenty of capacity for everyday use without requiring you to expand to the maximum from the start. If your energy needs change due to additional solar panels, a heat pump or an electric vehicle, the system can easily grow with you. With up to five BP7000 modules per Solarbank Max, the total storage capacity can be expanded to 42 kWh.
The Solarbank Max supports solar installations up to 10 kWp, making this 14 kWh configuration suitable for larger PV systems as well.
The integrated hybrid inverter features three independent MPPT inputs, allowing different groups of solar panels to be managed separately. This is particularly useful when your panels are installed across multiple roof sections or have different orientations.
Storage capacity is only part of the equation. The amount of power available when you need that stored energy is just as important. The Solarbank Max delivers up to 5000 W* of output power, allowing stored energy to supply multiple appliances at the same time.
This is particularly useful in homes where more and more appliances are becoming electric. For example, you can cook on an induction hob while the washing machine is running, or supply a heat pump and other larger electrical loads at the same time.
In the event of a power outage, the Solarbank Max can continue supplying selected appliances via its backup output. Up to 3500 W of continuous output power is available, helping to keep essentials such as lighting, your refrigerator and internet equipment running as long as sufficient energy remains in the battery.
With a compatible Smart Meter, the Solarbank Max monitors solar generation and household electricity consumption. Charging and discharging can then be automatically adjusted to these energy flows, helping you store and use your own energy as efficiently as possible.
The Solarbank Max also supports dynamic electricity tariffs. This allows the system to respond to changing electricity prices throughout the day and take the current tariff into account alongside your own generation and consumption.
The Anker app gives you real-time insight into solar generation, energy storage and consumption. You can check the battery status, adjust energy modes and keep track of your complete energy system. Integration with platforms including Home Assistant is also supported.
The BP7000 connects directly to the Solarbank Max. Thanks to the stackable design, the battery modules are positioned compactly on top of each other without the need for extensive cabling between the stacked modules. This allows you to double the storage capacity without the battery system taking up unnecessary space.
The BP7000 uses LFP battery cells and is designed for long-term daily use. Anker specifies a lifespan of up to 10.000 charge cycles, while a 100% depth of discharge allows the available battery capacity to be fully utilised. With its IP66 rating, the battery can be installed both indoors and in a suitable outdoor location.
* For output levels above 800 W, we recommend connecting the system to a dedicated circuit in the distribution board that is not shared with other appliances. Have the installation checked or carried out by a qualified electrician.
